Align is a folk fusion duo dedicated to embodying the mystical vibration of love through the power of song. Singer Siobhan Fitzgerald-Matson’s vocal techniques have been compared to artists such as Ani DiFranco, Alanis Morisette, Jewel, and Joni Mitchell. Siobhan alternates between nylon and steel string guitar and plays fiddle.
Accompanist and co-songwriter Lee Fitzgerald-Matson plays haunting trumpet riffs, melodica, bass, and has recently begun to incorporate conscious raps into Siobhan’s original ballads. Together, these married musicians hope to spread a message of joy, inspiration, and human connection to all who will listen.
