ART TALK / CRIT NIGHT purpose is to discuss art, the practice of making, life, routine, ruts, research, or whatever you need an ear or eyes for.
This event is FREE, but potluck is strongly encouraged!
The only goal of this meeting and future gatherings is for it to be a regular occurrence, which is the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

Like the mailman (rain, snow, or shine), metaphorically speaking: no ideas, but looking to stay involved in conversation and the creative community; have ideas, but at a standstill and need advice on how to proceed; or have a project/piece that you’d simply like to share and have a conversation about. These meetings will happen, you can come or not. BUT (!) hopefully you’ll come regardless of your artistic condition…

You don’t need to be a visual artist. You don’t even need to necessarily be someone who makes “things” or “stuff”. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to give and receive information. All of us—we are our best resource.
