CATA Exhibit “What I See” By Artists With Disabilities Reception TO TUNNEL CITY COFFEE AT MASS MOCA
Community Access to the Arts (CATA) presents “What I See,” an exhibit of artwork by CATA artists with disabilities at Tunnel City Coffee at MASS MoCA in North Adams. The exhibit includes work by CATA artists with disabilities from across Berkshire County, with a focus on work by artists from Berkshire Family & Individual Resources (BFAIR) and United Cerebral Palsy (UCP). The exhibit opens April 5, and a free, public reception will be held on April 25 from 1-2pm with many of the artists in attendance.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Tunnel City Coffee at MASS MoCA to share this eclectic exhibit of work by CATA artists from across the Berkshires,” says CATA Executive Director Margaret Keller. “‘What I See’ captures the broad talents of our artists and draws us into their unique perspectives. Public exhibits like this make it possible for CATA artists to share their talents with the wider community.”
The exhibit is funded by October Mountain Financial Advisors, Frames on Wheels, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and other generous supporters.
