Do you have thoughts, words, ideas, drawings, music, sketches, lyrics, (etc., etc. etc.!) that need a place to live? Be hospitable to your expressive desires and build a custom sketchbook or journal. During this two-hour workshop you will be equipped with the basic skills and knowledge of how to create a one-of-a-kind, handmade, Japanese stab bound, sketchbook or journal. The best part? After the workshop you’ll cruise out the door with your very own special book (vintage cover! your choice of paper!) made by your own hands. $10 if you sign up on or before June 18 (email: [email protected]) $15 if you sign up after June 18! The cost covers the price of materials and supplies. There are no additional fees. As a note, the sketchbook and journal covers are sourced from out of circulation books and will be repurposed/recycled as a means of breathing new life into discarded objects. QUESTIONS?!
