First Baptist Church is hosting a Turkey Dinner on October 14th in conjunction with the Bike-a-thon for Camp Ashmere. This is a popular annual affair with a complete turkey dinner featuring stuffing, mashed potato, gravy, vegetables, rolls, cranberry sauce, drinks, and hot apple crisp a la mode for dessert. There will also be a chicken option for those who don’t eat turkey. Last year we sold out with over 107 meals served, so get your tickets early. There are two seatings, the first at 5pm and the second at 6pm with the option for take-out until 7pm or while supplies last. The cost for the dinner is $12.00 for adults, $7.00 for children and is FREE for those five and under or participants of the Bike-A-Thon who have $100 or more in donations. Tickets will be available from Camp Trustees, Staff and at the Church Office. So mark your calendars today and come out to support Camp Ashmere!
