FREE FOR KIDS 5 & UNDER
MASS MoCA beams up to the North Adams airport for a screening of this 1982 sci-fi classic on the largest movie screen in the galaxy. While Captain Kirk (William Shatner) faces off against his genetically engineered nemesis Khan Noonien Singh (Ricardo Montalban) in a battle for the future of humanity, we sit back and enjoy drive-in movie style food and drinks, as distant mountain views give way to the mesmerizing night sky.
CHANGE OF VENUE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE COURTYARD AT MASS MoCA.
What to Expect
We turn the door of a hangar at North Adams’ Harriman-West airport into the largest movie screen in the state. Lickety Split, our museum café, comes along for the ride and serves up hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, and ice cream as we settle in for a movie under the stars. B.Y.O.C. (bring your own chair), but don’t B.Y.O.B. (full bar on-site).
