Two families are pitted against one another by a ruthless social hierarchy in this epic story of farmers in the American South during World War II. Mudbound received a warm welcome at the Sundance and New York Film Festivals, and director Dee Rees will appear for a conversation with exhibiting artist Allison Janae Hamilton, whose Pitch also draws influence from the sights and sounds of the southern landscape.
