Difficulty: Moderate (slow pace, moderate elevation changes). Hike a total of 6 miles along a ridgeline trail that looks out over valleys and towns far below. Our halfway point will be the open rock summit of Spruce Hill, where we will be for the peak of the solar eclipse. Please bring snack, water and appropriate footwear. Directions: From Pittsfield: Take Route 8 North, at the Cumberland Farms in North Adams, take a right onto 8A. Then take a right, heading east on Route 2.
