James Harrison Monaco and Jerome Ellis make hyper-literary, live-music story performances using lush, powerful combinations of acoustic and electronic music with live narration. Winning raves from Joe’s Pub to Lincoln Center, their new work The Conversationalists, created in collaboration with director Annie Tippe, is an original, live-scored film that audience members only see in their own minds.
