The folk-leaning brainchild of songsmith Austin Crane, VALLEY MAKER has nurtured a reputation for ruminative excursions through rugged indie-tinged soundscapes, with quavering vocal harmonies and delicate acoustic accents rolling through blissful backcountry scenes.

Seattle-based for ten years before the pandemic, Crane, along with his family, moved back to his hometown in South Carolina in 2019 – an uprooting and re-assimilation that finds a voice in his lush 2021 album When The Day Leaves.

This special afternoon show at TOURISTS will fill our leafy campus with sound. Relax on the deck with a cocktail, or lounge on the grass and let the music wash over you. All Sing for your Slumber shows at TOURISTS are free, but we do encourage free-will donations that go directly to the artists. Sing for your Slumber performances are powered by Bose.
